The village of Hook is situated in North East Hampshire about six miles from Basingstoke and just north of Junction 5 of the M3. Hook originated from a small collection of dwellings along the roadside in the 18th century.
The local countryside is within easy reach of the village whilst the motorway and rail network make this a great location for those who need to commute. Hook has plenty to offer both the resident and visitor alike. It is a mix of the modern and the old, there is the Bartley Wood Business Park, but a short trip to the town centre reveals more historic examples of architecture. The White Hart Hotel is a 15th century coaching inn which retains many of its original features.
